Three things before you write
What should I put in the message?
The name or work, what you sell with it, where you sell it, and the date that worries you most. A link helps. A long story does not need to come yet.
What should I leave out?
Anything you would not want known if it were never protected: an unreleased design, source code, a formula. We can handle those once an engagement letter is signed.
Will you answer on weekends?
Messages sent over a weekend are answered on Monday. If a deadline is days away, say so in the first line and call during office hours.
